Ducati 1098 S 2007-2008 Rapid Bike Electronic Quick Shifter Kit - Electronic Quickshifter Module by DIMSPORT

This Quickshifter is designed as an add on module (not stand alone) and must be installed in conjunction with a Rapid Bike EVO or RACING fuelling kit. (Not for use with the EASY module)

The Load sensor cell plugs into the Rapid Bike wiring harness and manages a fuelling/power cut to allow an up-shift into a higher gear without using the clutch or closing the throttle. It is a universal item and works either by push or pull depending on the shifting configuration. Fitment Note: The stock shift rod must be replaced with the recommended Rapid Bike shift rod as indicated in the description or with an aftermarket one so that the length of the new shift rod with the load sensor equals the length of the stock shift rod. If no shift rod is listed an aftermarket one must be sourced. (The load sensor cell measures 45mm).

How to choose the correct shift rod??

To check yourself: The Rapid Bike shift sensor is 45mm long. So just measure the length of the stock shift lever and remove 45mm from this measurement to get the correct length of the dipstick. Once this is done, check the type of couplings placed at the ends of the rod itself. This replaces the original when fitting the shift assist sensor on the transmission rod of the motorcycle gearbox.
